The product DC in Channel Advisor is key to how orders sync into Spark Shipping.
When the order is pulled into Spark Shipping, Spark Shipping looks at the DC of each one item:
- If the DC is designated as a dropship DC, Spark Shipping will proceed with sending the order to the vendor that is mapped to the DC within Spark Shipping.
- If the product is stocked at a DC that is designated as a Dropship DC, but that DC is not mapped to a vendor in Spark Shipping, Spark Shipping will proceed with sending the order per the order routing logic within Spark Shipping.
To map DCs to Vendors, go to sites > click on the site name > setup vendor locations.
- If the DC is designated as Externally Managed or FBA , Spark Shipping will NOT proceed with sending the order to a vendor.
- If the Status of the order pulled from Channel Advisor is Shipped, Spark Shipping will NOT proceed with sending the order to a vendor.
