Creating Product Bundles

Designating items as bundles can be done in 2 ways:

  1. Via editing the product manually in the UI.
  2. Through a bulk SKU mapping file

To designate a product as a bundle through manually editing the item:

Go to Products > Find your product and click on the SKU > Edit

Scroll down and map each component Vendor SKU that is included in the bundle to the proper vendor. Each component SKU can be mapped to one vendor only.

Next, make sure to enable the bundle option Is this a bundle? [checkbox]

When an order is received for a bundled product, Spark Shipping will send the order to all vendors mapped to that product.

To designate a product as a bundle through SKU Mapping:

  • Go to the vendor you want to assign these SKUs to
    • Each item in the bundle can be assigned to a specific vendor
  • Go to SKU Mapping
  • Open the Bulk SKU Mapping Template
  • List the appropriate Product SKU in Column 'A' (this is the SKU in your shopping cart that contains the bundles SKUs)
  • Paste the vendor SKUs in column 'B' that you want to send to the vendor behind-the-scenes

In our example: The SKU in our shopping cart is ACC-HYD-BUNDLE and we are mapping it to Vendor SKUs ACC-600-081 and ACC-600-091 to make our custom bundle.

Important: Remember to check Bundle Mode before uploading the SKU mapping file; otherwise, Spark will not know that this is a bundle item, and it will not work.

-Now you are ready to upload your CSV file. Come back in about 20 minutes and you should see this item mapped as a bundle.
