Display Settings
Spark Shipping now includes a Display Settings section on your Profile page that lets you choose how dimensions and weight are shown throughout the interface. Whether you prefer imperial or metric units, you can now pick the format that's most familiar to you.
What the Display Settings control
The Display Settings affect how measurements are presented everywhere you see them in Spark Shipping, including:
- Product dimensions
- Package dimensions
- Shipping box dimensions
- Weight displays
- Reports and tables that show dimensions or weight
Important: This is a display preference only. Your stored data does not change — values remain in the original units in our database. Conversions happen only when the values are rendered on screen.

How to change your Display Settings
- Open your Profile page.
- Scroll to the Display Settings section.
- Use the Dimension Unit dropdown to choose inches or centimeters.
- Use the Weight Unit dropdown to choose pounds, kilograms, ounces, or grams.
- Save your changes.
Your selection applies immediately to measurements displayed across the Spark Shipping interface for your user account.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing these settings affect my stored product data, shipping rules, or integrations?
No. Display Settings are presentation-only. Your underlying data, rules, and vendor/channel integrations continue to use their original values.
Will my team see the same units I do?
No. Display Settings are per-user preferences. Each team member can pick the units that work best for them.
What if a vendor sends product data in different units?
Spark Shipping stores the values as received. Your Display Settings simply convert what's shown to you on screen — they don't change what's sent to or received from vendors and channels.
