I haven't used the service. Can I get a refund?
Our billing system is fully automated to ensure accuracy, transparency and fairness to all users. Each subscription plan includes a set number of sites, orders processed, products, and vendors. If additional services or resources are used beyond what’s included in your plan, the system automatically calculates and bills for any overages to keep everything running smoothly.
Our service is billed on a monthly subscription basis rather than by usage and can be canceled or paused at anytime. This means that once a billing cycle begins, the charge covers access to the platform, resources, included services and add-ons (processed orders, added vendors and products included) for that full month, regardless of how much the service is used during that time.
When you upgrade or change your plan, Spark Shipping uses prorated billing to ensure you are only charged for the time you actually use each plan. This means we calculate the unused portion of your current plan and apply that as a credit toward your new plan, then charge you only for the remaining time at the new plan’s rate. As a result, you won’t be double-billed or lose any value from your previous subscription, everything is adjusted automatically to reflect your exact usage period.
Because Spark Shipping uses prorated billing, you’re only ever charged for the exact time you use the service, which is why refunds typically aren’t issued. When you change or cancel your plan, any unused time isn’t lost, it’s either credited toward your new plan or simply not billed going forward. This ensures there’s no overlap or double charging, and you’ve already received the full value for the time you were subscribed. Since charges are adjusted in real time to reflect actual usage, there isn’t a remaining balance to refund.
Because of this structure, we’re not able to offer refunds for periods of non-use. That said, we’re always here to help you get the most out of your Spark Shipping subscription.
