The Spark Shipping system puts hard limits on SKU counts. To avoid interruption of service, it is very important that each customer be aware of how many SKUs they have in their Spark database and manage this.
Once a customer reaches 70% of their total SKU allowance, we recommend that they implement a plan to either remove items from their shopping cart or upgrade to the next highest SKU plan.
Note: If you delete products in your shopping cart, you must notify support to run a purge process so that those items will no longer be shown in Spark Shipping and reflected in your SKU plan.
How do I know how many SKUs I am using in Spark?
-Go to your user profile in Spark and look in the user information section.
-Your SKU count will be listed under # of products.
What happens when I exceed my SKU count?
Your Spark account will stop syncing data automatically, including vendors, items, and active orders.
- This is an automatic process that support does not have any control over.
- You can either upgrade to the next highest plan temporarily, where sync will be restored immediately or delete products and have us run a purge
- The upgrade charge is pro-rated by the day, so if you need to restore sync ASAP this is the best route; you will not pay for the upgrade difference all at once

I deleted several thousand SKUs in my Shopping Cart, how long before my SKU count is updated?
-It will not be updated until you notify support to run a purge; this process can take anywhere from 3 hours to 2 days depending on how many items you have.
Points to keep in mind:
- There can be multiple instances of SKUs in Spark, For example: Vendor A has SKU 12345 and Vendor B also carries SKU 12345, this is considered 2 SKUs
- Any SKUs being read from your shopping cart are counted against your SKU count even if they are in default vendor
- We recommend that you have a plan to address SKU capacity whenever you are at 70% of your SKU allowance
