Spark Shipping Mapping Opportunities searches vendor catalogs to find mapping opportunities with your existing products.
Configure Matching Options
First, you can select what Matching Options Spark Shipping should use to look for mapping opportunities. We suggest starting with a single option, Searching for New Mapping Opportunities, and then adding additional Matching Options.
Matching Options
- Exact Product SKU to Vendor SKU Matching
- Exact UPC Matching
- Exact Brand & Part Number Matching
Searching for New Mapping Opportunities
To search for new mapping opportunities, press Update & Find Mapping Opportunities. This can take a few minutes to hours to run, depending on your number of products. This process will not make any changes; it will find the opportunities you will have to Approve or Reject.
Accepting & Rejecting Mapping Opportunities
Once Mapping Opportunities are found, they will be disabled in the Mapping Opportunities table. You can Accept or Reject each mapping opportunity or all opportunities in bulk.
Confidence Score
Spark Shipping will still use other data points to let you know how confident it is that this product is the correct match.
- UPC - When Brand & MPN matching is enabled, a UPC match will result in a higher confidence score.
- Brand & MPN - When UPC matching is enabled, a Brand & MPN match will result in a higher confidence score.
- Cost - Spark Shipping considers the average cost of other vendors to which the product is currently mapped. The closer this average cost is to the vendor SKU mapping opportunity cost, the higher the confidence.
The confidence score should be a rough guideline of what products you want to review vs. accept in bulk manually, but you should base this decision on your individual risk tolerance.
