This article will discuss how to setup the RSR vendor on your site. Vendor setup is the responsibility of our customers, but you can always reach out to support if you have any questions or get stuck.
Note: RSR normally gives separate accounts for firearms and accessories. Please be sure you have the correct account number for the type of item that you are trying to sell. It is normally a good idea to add an RSR vendor for firearms and a separate RSR vendor for firearms.
How to add RSR (example: accessories):
- In Spark Shipping click Vendors
- Scroll down and find RSR and click Add Vendor
- First let's set your account information; in the left column click Options
- Enter your Etailer Number (RSR account # for this vendor setup)
- Fill out all of the fields
- Adult Signature Required: Set this to All (except adult signature required products) if doing accessories
- Non-dropship products: Pick if you are doing dropship items, non-dropship or All if both
- Categories: Are only needed if you are needing to include firearms
- Click Update RSR Group button at the bottom to save
Now click the Credentials menu in the left column
- Enter your FTP Username
- Enter your FTP Password
- Environment: Pick Testing if you aren't ready to go live yet and have not done a test order; when this is done don't forget to change this to Production
- Click the Test Connection button; you should get a success message in the right column
How to add RSR (example: firearms):
If you want to add Firearms as an example you would do the following steps above with the appropriate credentials for firearms as well as selecting the appropriate FFL categories.
FFL Categories
- Hand Guns
- Used Hand Guns
- Used Long Guns
- Sporting Long Guns
As well with checking the FFL tag only.
