Tracking Methods Mapping
Vendors can sometimes send Tracking Carrier names that would not be recognized by your store/shopping carts which crates issues for your customers when they need to track their shipments, or worse, it may impact your account metrics with Amazon and Ebay.
To fix this:
- Find an order example where the shipping carrier name was not recognized by your store, sometimes Amazon will display it as 'Other'.
- Find the order in Spark Shipping and copy the shipping method that was sent by the vendor
- Go the vendor page > tracking method mapping
- Paste the vendor code in the first column and find the correct shopping cart code in the second column
- Update.
This will fix the issue for orders going forward. Previous orders need to be manually adjusted in your shopping cart.
