Where can I find my FTP/SFTP credentials?
Many vendor integrations require an FTP/SFTP connection for files sharing. Typically, vendors will host the FTP/SFTP and will provide users with their login credentials and the folders/files structure, so Spark Shipping knows where to read/write files. Occasionally, vendors may ask that the user hosts the FTP, so we recommend below
**Please note that because of Spark Shipping's partnerships with Amazon and other platforms, we are required to perform security audits. Most of the security audits require us not to host data on FTP. We are able to send data to client FTPs, but the security auditors have pretty strict requirements when it comes to us restricting our own FTP, which would violate a lot of terms of service of platforms such as Amazon if we were the ones to host it. As a result, Spark Shipping does not provide any FTP hosting. This should be something agreed upon between vendors and users.
