Why Are My Order Items Not Linked in Spark Shipping?

When an order is imported into Spark Shipping, the system typically matches the order items to products that have already been imported. However, if you notice that an order has been imported but the items are not linked (i.e., they don’t appear as clickable links), this usually indicates that the order was imported before the related products were added to Spark Shipping.

Common Scenario

This situation often occurs when new products are created in your store but have not yet been imported into Spark Shipping. If an order for one of these new products is imported first, the system cannot link the order items correctly because it doesn't recognize the product yet.

Result

These orders usually fail to process correctly within Spark Shipping.

Recommended Solution

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Spark Shipping Support
    Reach out to us at support@sparkshipping.com and request that the affected order be completely deleted from Spark Shipping.

  2. Import Your Products
    Ensure that the relevant product(s) are successfully imported into Spark Shipping.

  3. Re-Import the Order
    Once the product(s) are in the system, re-import the order (click Refresh orders on the dashboard). The items should now correctly link to the imported products, allowing the order to process as expected.
