Turn14 requires you to first send an order in test mode before taking the connection live. This article walks you through the steps in order to achieve a successful test and go live
When users start with Turn14's API order processing, it is required that they send a test order first, to ensure a successful connection and a smooth go-live transition.
- Start by placing the order processing mode to TEST under Turn14 credentials (Vendors > Turn14 > Credentials > Turn14 Ordering Environment and Select Testing.
- Next, place a test order from your store, or wait for a live order to come through. Once the order is recieved in Spark Shipping, you will find it under 'Orders'. Go to the order page to view the order, if the order is on-hold due to your on-hold rules, make sure to click 'Process' to release the order to Turn14. The ordes is now sent to Turn14 as a Test order.
- After the test order is sent, email apisupport@turn14.com with the customer name and PO number. Turn14 will then enable production access for your account
- Once Turn14 informs you that the order looks good on their end and give you access to the production environment, you can go back to the Turn14 credentials and switch the Turn14 Ordering Environment to Production.
- You're now Live! New orders that are pulled from your store going forward will be sent to Turn14 as live orders and will be shipped to your customers.
